AIA Philippines is making it easier for customers in Manila to access insurance services by relocating its Binondo office to a more central and accessible location. Situated in one of the city’s most active business districts, the move reflects the company’s continued focus on staying close to communities where personal connections still matter.
The new Binondo office brings customer service and agency support under one roof, allowing clients to handle transactions, policy services, and claims with greater convenience. It also highlights AIA Philippines’ balance of digital tools and face to face service as it strengthens its presence in one of the country’s most historic and commercially vibrant areas.
AIA Philippines, formerly Philam Life and the Philippine arm of Pan-Asia’s largest life insurance group, has relocated its Binondo office to Yuchengco Tower, reinforcing its long-standing presence in the City of Manila and its commitment to serving customers in one of the country’s most dynamic business districts.
The new office continues AIA Philippines’ operations in Binondo, widely recognized as the world’s oldest Chinatown and a major commercial hub home to thousands of small- and medium-sized enterprises and family-owned businesses. As a key economic center of the Philippines, Manila provides access to millions of potential customers within a rapidly expanding middle class.
The Binondo office houses the customer service center and the agency office, which is now fully operational and open to clients for all transactions, including after-sales services, payments, claims, policyowner service requests, and the submission of requirements. With over 2,000 agents serving Metro Manila, AIA Philippines delivers its services through in person support at its office as well as via an extensive network of locally based agency representatives.
“This relocation reflects our continued focus on strengthening our on-ground presence in Manila, where strong community ties and trust remain central to financial decision-making,” said Melita Teo, Chief Executive Officer, AIA Philippines. “Having a physical branch in a key business district like Binondo allows us to be more accessible to clients while supporting our goal of delivering consistent, high-quality service.”
Beyond accessibility, AIA Philippines emphasized the importance of maintaining a physical presence alongside its digital platforms, particularly in communities where face-to-face engagement continues to play a vital role in building confidence and long-term relationships.
The office recently held a blessing as part of its soft opening. AIA Philippines plans to formally mark the office’s grand opening in February 2026, in time for the Chinese New Year celebrations.
