The 4th Yahoo Celebrity Awards (formerly Yahoo OMG! Awards) is proving to be the most exciting one yet! Did you know that after only three weeks from the the time the voting doors were open, over 9 million online votes already came in? Yes, that's more than 9 Million Fan votes and still counting! This just surpassed last year’s(Yahoo Awards 2013 total number of votes! As far as I can remember Yahoo is aiming for 10 million or more. We still have weeks to go!

Yahoo Celebrity Awards is not based from Judges' score, nor TV or Radio Ratings. As what Mike C. emphasized repeatedly during the launch of Yahoo Celebrity Awards, it's uniquely “Powered by You”, the FANS. Yes these are all votes from Pinoy fans locally and abroad. It's main aim of course is to honor the Filipino celebrities from the fields of movies, music, radio and television, who are voted into the top ranks by their fans from across the world.
And on its 4th year, and as the first time to be globally named as Yahoo Celebrity Awards in different countries where there is Yahoo, it's our time to speak our minds and voice out who should get the throne!

Kate Delos Reyes, Country Manager and Country Editor of Yahoo Philippines was ecstatic with the results and said, “We all know how much Filipino fans love our celebrities! Now is the time to show them how important they are to you. Ask your friends and family to vote to make sure your favorites win in their respective categories!”
Thanks to the 10 new add'l categories, this year's Yahoo Awards is even more exciting. Overall there are 140 nominees for 28 different categories

Mike Constantino, Country Sales Director added, “After an early analysis, we can already see some celebrities dominating the votes in their respective categories. Regularly checking the voting is such an exciting exercise. We are so happy that Filipino fans are very passionate about their celebrities and turn to Yahoo as their source for celebrity news!”
For those who hasn't voted yet or don't know where to vote, you still have a chance. Voting online is an easy task. Visit yahoo.com.ph/celebrityawards, select the category, then select the entity/option then click on Vote Now button.
Online voting is good until July 12, 2014. Users may follow the awards on Twitter @yahooph #YahooAwards. The winners will be announced at the awards night on July 18 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
For those who are still looking for Yahoo Celebrity Awards Tickets, they are available for FREE at SM Tickets.
During their stops at 2 Campuses/Universities, Yahoo Philippines, already gave away tickets for this much awaited celebrity event of the Year, the Yahoo Celebrity Awards of 2014. Not one, not even 100, but more than 1000 Yahoo Awards tickets were already given away for free!
