Today, May 13, 2013, Monday. Pinoys/ Filipinos from different parts of the country will vote and decide what their local government from barangays, to municipalities and cities will become.

google.com.ph acknowledges the Election Day

As early as 7 AM in the morning, people from all walks of life, decides what they think is best for them by voting whom will be the one who will guide them and lead them, while hoping for a better life

There are 33 hopefuls on the ballot boxes but only 12 will make it to the Senatoriables. One of the most controversial names is Nancy Binay who received a lot of feedback lately. The country is very much excited to see if she can make it to the top 12.

Did you know that there are, more or less, 136 Official Party Lists out there? Some Party lists names do only have 2-3 characters such as BH, AG, AKO, ALE, ATM(?) to name a few. We also saw something unusual like PACYAW, ANG LADLAD, etc.

Here are sample ballot template for your reference; snapshot from http://www.comelec.gov.ph/

No matter if you'll be exercising your right to vote or not, there's one thing that is true and final:

“...they say if you don't vote, you get the government you deserve, and if you do, you never get the results you expected.”
― E.A. Bucchianeri, Brushstrokes of a Gadfly
