Prime Video just announced that The Summer I Turned Pretty will continue with a feature film written and directed by creator Jenny Han. The movie will serve as the final chapter of Belly’s journey, following the massive success of the hit series’ three seasons.

Announced during the Paris red carpet celebration for the series finale, the film promises to bring audiences the emotional conclusion that only a movie could deliver. Jenny Han shares, “There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due.”
