GCash advisory on impostor entity “Fuse Lending” shut down by SEC for illegally using former name of GCash lending arm

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has shut down a fraudulent group illegally using the old name “Fuse Lending” to deceive the public. 

The real and only legitimate lending arm of GCash is Fuse Financing Inc., which has been fully SEC-registered and operating under its updated name since January 30, 2025. All Fuse Financing products and services are available only through the official GCash app.


SSS extends until September 30 the compliance deadline for pensioners to shift to PESONet banks

The Social Security System (SSS) has extended to September 30, 2021 its deadline for pensioners to shift their disbursement accounts to participating banks or e-wallets under the Philippine Electronic Fund Transfer System and Operations Network (PESONet) or Remittance Transfer Companies/Cash Payout Outlets (RTCs/CPOs).

No LRT-1 operations for two weekends this April 2021

There will be no LRT-1 operations on April 17-18, 24-25, as LRMC announce temporary weekend shutdown for continuous rehabilitation activities

SSS system maintenance completed ahead of schedule; online services resume operations

Social Security System (SSS) online services resume operations, as the system maintenance of its Information Technology (IT) facilities has been completed ahead of schedule.

SSS encourages members to use online services, drop box system in ECQ areas

The Social Security System (SSS) is advising members, pensioners, covered employers, and the public to use the online services and drop box system in transacting with its offices and branches located in areas declared under the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) from March 29 to April 4, 2021.

Meanwhile, all our 611 ATMs will be online and PSBank Mobile and PSBank Online (Internet banking) facilities will be available for your banking needs.



Further, please take note of the following:

  
Payroll
  • All payroll crediting on May 1 will proceed.
Automatic Debit Agreement
  • For bills payments, accounts with due date on May 1 will proceed.
  • For PSBank loans, payments will be value dated on its original due date and accounts will be debited on May 2.  Accounts not debited on May 1 due to insufficient funds should be funded by May 2 to avoid penalties.
Check clearing and settlement
  • Clearing will be suspended on May 1. Checks received after cut-off time on April 30 will be processed on May 2.
  • No penalties will be charged for checks dated May 1 intended for PSBank loan payments.
Time deposits
  • Maturities on May 1 will be processed on May 2.
