UNIQLO U is closing the first chapter of its story with Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran with the launch of its Fall/Winter 2026 collection on September 11. Marking 10 years of “Future LifeWear,” the latest lineup explores “Confidence in Form” through refined silhouettes, expressive colors, and thoughtful materials.

For Filipino fashion fans, the collection’s versatile layers and polished yet effortless designs make sense beyond colder destinations. Think lightweight layering for rainy days, air-conditioned offices, cooler evenings, and travel, with standout pieces including the Satin Combination Dress, Hybrid Down Short Jacket, Coated Blouson, and Fishtail Parka. The collection features 14 women’s pieces, 17 men’s pieces, and 2 accessories, with most designed to be genderless.

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO today announces the launch of the Uniqlo U 2026 Fall/Winter collection, starting September 11th. Beginning ten years ago in 2016, the first chapter for Uniqlo U culminates this season with the final collection from Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran. The "Future LifeWear" they have continually pursued is once more expressed with beautiful harmony of form, material, and color, through items that exquisitely reflect the moment. The careful tailoring and timeless designs of UNIQLO U will continue in the next chapter.

Christophe Lemaire commented: “Working with UNIQLO and building together the team and concept of Uniqlo U has been a truly exciting journey. I see this project as a true achievement, a dream come true; bringing the best qualitative and stylish apparel for everyday life to a wide variety of people. I have always been admirative of Mr Yanai’s vision and his philosophy of ‘LifeWear,’ and Made For All. Which, to me, is not, or even is the opposite of fast fashion. So it was a true honor to be called by him to join his design family. I learnt so much working with the amazing design and development teams, watching this very Japanese passion for quality and constant quest of perfection and improvement. I see these 10 years as one of the very heights of my design life.”

Tadashi Yanai, Chairman, President and CEO of Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., said: “It has been 10 years since Christophe Lemaire stepped into the leadership role at the Paris R&D Center with a mandate to advance UNIQLO LifeWear. During his decade at the helm, his outstanding sense of aesthetics and creativity elevated Uniqlo U to the level of ‘Future LifeWear’ beloved by customers worldwide. I would like to reiterate my deep respect and gratitude for the passion he has brought to UNIQLO. I hope that our relationship with Mr. Lemaire will continue into the next chapter.”

* Further reflections on the end of this first chapter for UNIQLO U can be found in an interview with the designers published in LifeWear magazine Issue 15, released at the end of August.

WOMENS Collection: Soft materials and structured silhouettes

Designs that combine softness and structure, most notably the Satin Combination Dress, balance supple comfort with a beautiful silhouette. The compact silhouette of the Hybrid Down Short Jacket, and the defined shoulder line of the Coated Blouson, aim to be designs that move with the wearer.

MENS Collection: Functionality and individuality

The men's collection brings together the functions and style needed for everyday wear, creating clothing for self-expression. The Wool Blend Short Coat is highly cold-resistant and incorporates workwear elements and the Fishtail Parka, reimagined for a modern style, emphasizes the wearer’s individuality. Bright red as an accent color also adds a distinct touch of character.
