Fans of The Boys were treated to big news at CCXP Brazil. Prime Video announced that the fifth and final season will premiere on April 8, 2026, kicking off with two episodes, then dropping one episode every week until the series finale on May 20. Showrunner Eric Kripke, together with cast members Erin Moriarty, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capone, and Colby Minifie, hit the Thunder Stage where more than 3,000 fans gathered to celebrate the hit show and watch the official teaser.
The final season promises a wild ride. Homelander now rules with unstable power, while Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie find themselves locked inside a Freedom Camp. Annie tries to fight back, but the odds are against her. Kimiko is missing, and Butcher returns with a dangerous plan that could wipe out every Supe for good. Season Five of the multi-Emmy Award-winning The Boys will premiere on April 8, 2026, with two episodes, followed by a new episode each week, culminating in the unforgettable, epic series finale on May 20, 2026. The season will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
In the fifth and final season, it’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.” Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. The Boys is based on The New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who also serve as executive producers, and developed by executive producer and showrunner Eric Kripke.
