Filinvest at 70: Giving Back through Loaves X Fish

To mark its 70th anniversary, Filinvest Group pledged 10,000 meals to the Loaves X Fish Foundation, providing 70 meals for every guest during its partners’ event last September 17. Loaves X Fish, which has already served over 325,000 meals since 2024 with the help of 1,700+ volunteers and 30 partner NGOs, runs a charity kitchen that feeds the poor, abandoned, and marginalized—with Filinvest employees actively joining as volunteers.

10,000 meals pledged to support communities in need

Filinvest Group’s 70th anniversary was made more meaningful during the partners’ event on September 17 with a gesture of giving. For every guest in attendance, 70 meals were pledged by Filinvest to the Loaves X Fish Foundation, amounting to a total of 10,000 meals, for those most in need.

Filinvest employees actively volunteer at Loaves X Fish, coming together on weekends to help prepare meals for beneficiaries.

In line with its mission of Fighting Hunger and Feeding Hope, Loaves X Fish Foundation, Inc. operates a charity kitchen that provides free hot meals  for the poor, abandoned, marginalized and forgotten. Since opening its doors in Feb. 2024, the kitchen has served over 325,000 meals with the support of its  donors, its more than 1,700 volunteers and in partnership with 30 parishes and NGOs.

Filinvest employees have been part of this effort from the beginning, regularly joining other volunteers in the kitchen to prepare food for distribution. Their involvement reflects a culture of service that runs deep within the Group and its employees.
