GCash advisory on impostor entity “Fuse Lending” shut down by SEC for illegally using former name of GCash lending arm

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has shut down a fraudulent group illegally using the old name “Fuse Lending” to deceive the public. 

The real and only legitimate lending arm of GCash is Fuse Financing Inc., which has been fully SEC-registered and operating under its updated name since January 30, 2025. All Fuse Financing products and services are available only through the official GCash app.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) recently shut down fake "Fuse Lending" after a complaint from GCash official lending arm, Fuse Financing Incorporated.
