VALORANT enters a new era with Corrode, the all-new map launching in Season 2025 // Act IV. Set in a climate-ravaged French fortress turned Radianite salt mine, Corrode delivers a gritty mix of medieval architecture and industrial decay. With 2 Spike sites, a 3-lane layout, and layered fall-back positions, this map is built for tight tactics and cleaner gunfights.
Bonus: players get RR loss protection in the first two weeks, plus a dedicated Swiftplay queue. New Act. New map. New meta.
Corrode features:
- 2 Spike Sites
- 3-lane layout
- Layered defenses and fall-back positions
- Reduce overwhelming ability aggression in map design
Corrode will be available in the competitive pool immediately upon launch. During the first two weeks, players may lose 50% less RR for losses on Corrode, but still gain 100% RR for wins to help them get in and practice the map in a competitive setting without the fear of deranking. Additionally, Swiftplay will have a dedicated Corrode queue from the map’s launch on June 25 through to June 30.
This act also introduces the Phaseguard Collection, a skinline that embodies cutting-edge technology and tactical precision. The collection includes the Vandal, Outlaw, Ghost, Bulldog, and a new melee skin — the Splitter. The new Battlepass will also feature items such as the 5 Years: Kill All Radiants Card, Bonsai Gun Buddy, ATLAS // CMD Vandal and more.
Season 2025 // Act IV goes live on June 25, with the Phaseguard Collection available starting June 26.
