Be the next Smart YouTuber with the help of telco giant's partnership with YouTube. Be one of the finalists who will be joining the exclusive training program that will put you and your content to the map! Wanna know how to be a part of it?

Do you think you have what it takes to be the next big online content creator from the Philippines? It’s time to show everything you've got as leading mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has teamed up with YouTube for NextUp, a search and training program for the next generation of Filipino content creators!

Be among the 12 Filipino content creators who will be given a chance to participate in an online creator camp that brings together NextUp alumni, production mentors, and current YouTube content creators to impart valuable tips, the latest techniques, and strategies to elevate your channel to the next level and go beyond your limits by growing your content creation skills.

As part of the NextUp program, each of the 12 finalists will also take-home equipment vouchers worth PHP100,000 and data offers, among others. From the 12 winners, at least three creators will bag a 12-month endorsement contract with Smart to work on the brand’s exciting productions and campaigns.

Supporting the community of Filipino creators

NextUp is a demonstration of Smart and YouTube’s collective goal of supporting the Filipino creator community by providing the tools and opportunities that can help them discover and cultivate their passions through unlimited opportunities.

“We believe that we have a wealth of passionate and creative young Filipinos who are just waiting to be discovered and given the opportunity to hone their craft. With NextUp, we are giving them a platform to let their creativity shine and learn from today's top creators so they can take their passion to a whole new level,” said Jane J. Basas, SVP and Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart.

“YouTube is all about the content creators and we’re committed to supporting their discovery and growth. We hope to enable not just the finalists but all the NextUp participants, so more creators can benefit from this amazing initiative. Together with Smart, we will hone their skills and help them seize the economic opportunities that come with having a growing YouTube channel,” said Marc Lefkowitz, Director of YouTube Partner Development and Management, APAC.

To join NextUp, go to goo.gle/nextup-ph for more details on the submission process and eligibility requirements.

The applicants who won’t be part of the 12 finalists can still elevate their YouTube skills through NextUp’s series of online workshops that will cover a wide array of topics such as video production and audience development, among others.
