Lenovo’s new endorser Aya Fernandez shares why she personally own a Thinkpad and loves using it

Lenovo’s puts the latest  seseries on a high note and by having their latest ambassadress, Aya Fernandez,  showcase ThinkBook’s modern capabilities for the next-gen workforce, who works mobile, remote, or at their own homes.

Aya Fernandez was recently named as Lenovo Thinkpad's new ambassadress. In a virtual event, Aya didn't only showcase the new capabilities of the new Lenovo Thinkpad, but also confessed that she's been a long-time Lenovo user. She loves her Lenovo Thinkpad so much, that she user it for business and play.


One of the common problems with this new norm is, aside from having intermittent internet,  Work-from-home employees takes time to load their computers and tools. One common problem as well is that computers takes time to boot to Windows, therefore creating a stressful scenario right of the bat. The new Thinkpad by Lenovo promises a faster boot time, protection against online and offline threats.  

Actress, dancer, and beauty queen Aya Fernandez, the newest face of Lenovo’s ThinkBook Series, put the spotlight on the global tech leader’s recently launched ThinkBook 15 device and revealed the many ways it reflects her work life and pursuit of personal advocacies. A young entrepreneur herself, the Lenovo ambassador leverages the business-grade pre-loaded features of the device for enhanced work performance and boosted productivity.

With its sleek and modern exterior, the ThinkBook 15 doesn’t compromise style for function. Being fast doesnt have  to be bulky and ugly. According to a 2019 study commissioned by Lenovo and conducted by Forrester Consulting,  millennials and Gen Z workers comprise 60% of the workforce. Now with these pandemic most are working from home. Therefore, Lenovo developed the ThinkBook series to respond to the agile nature of young workers, offering enhanced connectivity, AI-based technology, and enterprise-level support. Essentially, it integrates the convenience of a consumer laptop with professional grade features and performance.

ThinkBook 15 comes pre-installed with Skype for Business with designated Hot Keys, making video conferencing and collaboration instant and convenient. It sports the tiny and reliable ThinkShutter, a sliding cover for the webcam that gives its users full control over its camera for privacy. With an integrated fingerprint reader on the Smart Power Button, logging into the laptop is as quick and easy as unlocking a smartphone.The lightweight device also offers a battery life of up to 12 hours, allowing the young workforce to keep unplugged and work on the go.

The ThinkBook 15 runs on up to the 10th generation Intel® Core™ i7 6-coreprocessor, guaranteeing swift and intelligent performance. To further support professional usage, it houses up to 24GB memory with up to 2TB storage and powered by an Integrated Intel® UHD graphics or AMD Radeon 620 discrete graphics with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM for an immersive visual experience. In addition, the device also comes with an Intel® Optane™ Memory Module, which allows for faster access to frequently used business apps, and the Trusted Platform Module, which enables Windows 10 security features and encrypts user data.


ThinkBook series and the remote workforce

A recently released Lenovo work-from-home (WFH) survey  found that majority of employees(87%) felt at least somewhat ready to shift to WFH when required. The rapid adoption of remote working was made possible by the increasing sophistication of smart mobile technology, which emphasized the need for companies to invest in smarter technology to bolster employee productivity from wherever they are working.
