MSI, one of the world’s leading brands partnered up with Discovery, a global leader in providing real-life entertainment to celebrate the rise of eSports as a legitimate revenue-generating industry that brings millions of people together across the world, including in the Philippines last July 18, 2019 at Quezon City Philippines. With this is a launch of an upcoming television program about the eSports ecosystem on the Discovery Channel titled ‘Esports: The Rise of the New King’.
Invited to the premiere press
conference held at the 55 Events Place in Quezon City from 6:00PM to 10:00PM on
July 18th 2019 were some of the country’s most followed social media
influencers, media representatives, leading store dealers, and MSI’s valued
partners in the tech and gaming industry such as AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA.
Those who were present at the
event enjoyed a lot of surprises, raffle prices and a hearty buffet prepared by
MSI. Of course, a lot of new information about eSports and the latest offering
from MSI and its partners were presented together with an 8-minute sneak peek
that shows a great glimpse of the new documentary. Replay will be on August 3,

MSI’s newest offerings designed
for gamers and content creators were also showcased at the event for the guests
to freely enjoy. These include an all-star MSI MPG SEKIRA 500G PC demo build

The event was also packed with
details not only about the new products but also a bunch of key

Highlighting MSI as the most
trusted name in gaming and eSports by pushing the performance of gaming rigs
beyond limits through its ever-growing product lineup were Mr. Bryan Chen, MSI
DPS Product Specialist, Mr. Edward Shen, MSI Notebook Sales Manager, and Mr. Daryl Carpena, MSI Notebook Marketing Associate.
Intel represented by Mr. Willy
Nacional, Training Manager of INTEL Philippines, Who showcased the latest solutions
offered by the tech giant which includes the promise of always-on 5G
connectivity and advances in its technology to deliver the best experience
possible for business and society.
NVIDIA represented by Mr. Hirro
Kuizon, Social Media and Community Manager of NVIDIA Philippines, offered the
audience with the latest engine updates coming from the tech multinational for
gamers and PC enthusiasts. These include an introduction video about DirectX
Raytracing (DXR) for GeForce RTX and GTX graphics processing units as well as
the several new workloads their GPUs can now perform to deliver the best
possible gaming experience.
AMD represented by Mr. Sonny Sy,
National Sales Manager for Components of AMD Philippines, closed the lineup of
partner presentations by discussing the high performance of the all new Ryzen
3000 processors which have taken over the world by storm.
But the night didn’t stop there.
3 lucky attendees were drawn as raffle prize winners of 1 AMD RYZEN 5 3600X
Processor, 1 MSI MEG X570 ACE Motherboard, and 1 MSI GP62 7REX Gaming Laptop
respectively. All attendees were also handed out with a MSI Goodie Bag and Discovery
