Game of Drones Takes to the Skies for the Second Time

Just recently, Game of Drones, the country’s biggest and only drone competition, took off its 2nd Flight at The Bike Playground at the Circulo Verde.  High-flying teams came together to participate on the challenge.

Game of Drones: 2nd Flight is one such event, providing FPV (First-Person View) pilots and drone enthusiasts an opportunity to show off their flying skills without having to wander far from the city.  The venue The Bike Playground has wide open spaces which is ideal for those who love to fly drones.

On the ground, there was as much excitement as that in the skies, as media practitioners who have witnessed the event were surprised of a short demonstration by Propel Philippines (No. 1 distributor of drones), on how to fly a model drone.  Everyone was eager to know the proper technique of maneuvering a drone and excited to take their turns in flying one.

Amplifying the excitement and fun were the food stalls and sponsors’ booth that distributed treats and snacks to everyone.

Drone hobbyists, enthusiasts, novice racers, and those who just want a taste of some outdoor fun were present to experience and watch as the drones battled for supremacy of the skies.

The Bike Playground is located within Circulo Verde, Calle Industria, Quezon City, a 10-hectare master-planned mixed-use community envisioned by its developers, Ortigas & Co., to become an active lifestyle destination.
