Power Mac Center ‘Cinemansanas’ awards outstanding films shot on iPhone

Local film fans have new names to watch out for as premier Apple partner Power Mac Center awarded the bold, brave, and brilliant filmmakers who showcased their digital storytelling prowess at the recently concluded Pixelworx: Cinemansanas campaign.

The Cinemansanas main challenge was to create short films using an iPhone. This year’s competition has two categories: (1) “Do you have a minute?”, open to everyone who can create a 60-second film; and (2)Masterclass with Brillante Mendoza, exclusive to attendees of international award-winning director Brillante Mendoza’s training sessions.
