Taxi fare rolls back to 30 pesos, from 40

Commuters here's a good news for you: Taxi's minimum fare down to 30 pesos. This should start March 9, Monday.

 

Nope, it's not a promo. It's the new flag-down rate for taxis. So starting Monday, regular taxis will have flag-down rate of 30 Pesos, while Airport  is at 60 pesos. This is definitely a good news for commuters who prefer to go to the office thru taxi cab. But how will the cab drivers respond to this? 

Update: some taxi operators (Basic Taxi) have proactively made it publicly known by placing a sticker inside the cab where it can be easily seen by the passengers
