Who would have thought that Yahoo Philippines is already on its 5th year?

 Who would have thought that this website/domain, is not just email, chat messenger and a cool search engine?

Thursday, February 6 at Aracama Filipino Cuisine in BGC members of the press, online media community and notable people had a fun-tastic night as they join and celebrate YAHOO's  half-a-decade in the Philippines.

Yahoo! News covered one of the major elections in the country

Yahoo! Pips, media and members of the online community shared a feast by lining on the buffet table while chatting with fellow bloggers. It was a fun night as we met a lot people, gained friends and new colleagues.

Early birds were not left unnoticed as the first 6 individuals who got there on time or before the dot were recognized. Yes truly the early birds get the best seats plus awesome prizes!

Rockeoke is our favorite part, as attendees were given a chance to choose a song from the list to sing in front of the crowd, but with a twist. You won't be singing while trying to follow the lyrics

If we're not mistaken almost 10 participants were given Coloud earphones as prizes for singing with the band.

All the participants are on their game face without thinking if it will shatter their singing career overnight. Perhaps dreaming of getting noticed plus a trip to Hollywood, American Idol style.

Mike Constantino, Yahoo! Philippines' Country Sales Director, shared his talent, and we pretty much like his performance. We can't help but to sing along, because he really knows how to get us on our feet and rock & roll with him.

Mike sang "Huling El Bimbo" and relive the days when he was still singing for a band. Now he's singing for Yahoo! ;)

The band Trinidad played all night long and kept the crowd chanting for more as they played favorite hits. It was a night full of fun, laughter and cool prizes!
