February 21, Friday, Singapore Airlines (SIA) showed us the important upgrades and changes they made with the plus the new ties they made to give us the true. Through an exclusive invitation to the press and online media community, SIA let us feel what its like to fly with their next-generation cabins at competitive fares

The New First Class

After designing together with BMW Group DesignWorks, it resulted to new seats and beddings that doesn't only focus on comfort but also on intricate details that gives flyers more memorable experience. The new first class brings the luxury by giving you the following features:

• 24-inch LCD screens, 
• longer and wider seats, 
• padded headboards 
• and an additional mattress layer. 

SIA gives you the royalty feeling. We manage to check the new features of first class seating and it was a fantastic experience for a worry-free flight.

The New Business Class

For SIA's Business Class Seats, they collaborated with James Park Associates for the design, which now sports a more contemporary design with a curvaceous shell, metallic colors, and luxurious soft furnishings. The New Business Class seats are still the widest in the sky, featuring greater recline with new seating positions and an all-in-one business panel. Similar to the New First Class, the New Business Class also has varying lighting options to suit every passenger’s mood.

Business trips will never be the same, it will get you more focused, relax yet prepared for those upcoming meetings once you reach your destination.

The New Economy Class

Flying on a budget doesn't always mean you're in for a cheap ride. In Singapore Airlines even the Economy Class, gives flyers a more comfortable ride than ever with more knee and leg room, a unique and moveable headrest, plush seat cushions featuring bolstered sides for increased sitting comfort. Afterall you don't want to feel travelling on an off-road track while up in the sky.

With Singapore Airlines' New Economy Class adding to the holistic experience is their new KrisWorld In-Flight Entertainment System. This gives the passengers the two-thumbs up experience while 10,000 feet up in the sky. Thanks to the Panasonic Avionics next-generation eX3 system, passengers can choose their favorite movies, TV shows and games on a larger Hi-def LCD. Yes KrisWorld In-Flight Entertainment System is available on all seat classes.

We really love the addition of in-seat power supply to keep those juices fully charge for your gadgets may it be laptop, smartphone, or portable media player/console.

The Singapore Airlines Showcase treads on the heels of an ongoing promotion which began last February 1. Under the Singapore Airlines Exceptional Value All-in Fares promotion, the airline is offering roundtrip economy class tickets to various destinations within its wide network, including fares that start from only USD $150 to Singapore and USD $888 to 12 cities in Europe among others.

For those who wants to get details about their flight Singapore Airlines already has mobile app for two prominent mobiles operating systems, Android and iOS.

  

According to their website, these mobile apps should help you do the following requests:

• make and retrieve bookings
• check in multiple passengers within the same booking
• save Mobile Boarding Pass onto your smartphone (for supported flights*)
• track status of selected flights
• access directory of our offices worldwide
• check flight schedules
• amend your bookings
• access your KrisFlyer statements and extend expiring miles
• make redemption bookings

In the future, the revisions of these apps should allow you to amend redemption bookings.
