Do you
know what this crown-like logo means? It's a logo for the Hackathon event called
AngelHack Manila that just happened over the weekend, which the group PageSnapp
just earned. "What's AngelHack Manila? Who's PageSnapp?" you may ask.

It was
between years 2001-2002 that I got more exposed programing language and internet.
Ever since I learned and got a bit understanding of it, the way I look into
computers had changed. I became hooked.
Almost 11
years after... I saw myself joining a blogger’s photo contest which will cover and
spread the hack-history about the said event, AngelHack Manila.
AngelHack
organizes competitions where developers and entrepreneurs can learn tools, meet
friends and get funding and mentorship for their start-up ideas.
As an
observer, its first day, somewhat started slow. The close to 300 Philippine-based
developers are just prepping up, planning and visualizing what they want to
achieve in just 24 hours!

The time
for judgement came. Each were given 2 minutes to present their hack and
convince the judges that what they created should be part of the big leagues.
After more than an hour of waiting. The top 12 were named. They were given the
opportunity to present themselves in front of the crowd, bloggers, organizers,
sponsors and get critic by the Judges

Perhaps, next time, on the 2nd leg of Angel Hack Manila, I'll be participating. Not as a field reporter, not as a blogger, but as an AngelHack Manila hacker!
