2019 Yellow Cab Pizza Tour Kicks Off with Free Music and Pizza

Yellow Cab Pizza Co., the No. 1 pizza joint in town recently threw its first kick-off by giving gimmick hustlers, what they need to have a head start in 2019:  awesome music and delicious food – all for free!

Crowds are starting to amp up early afternoon of the program

The party kick-off dubbed as So Worth It! The Yellow Cab Pizza Tour, was held at Eastwood Central Plaza.  It gathered music fans, pizza lovers (like me), and hardworking gimmick hustlers from all around the metro, who were filled up for their so-worth-it chase with Yellow Cab’s edge-to-edge pizzas, and legendary chicken and pasta.

With a jam-packed program that started in the afternoon, the Pizza Tour opened with DJ MVRXX taking on the stage to hype up the crowd.  His set was then followed by a surprise performance from alternative female duo, Leanne and Naara, and solo serenader, Dane Hipolito.

Yellow Cab’s exciting list of So Worth It performers also included the indie rock group, Oh, Flamingo!, who has become one of the top local bands to watch for.  Singing fan favorites like “Reflections”, “June”, and “Inconsistencies”, the four-member band hypnotized the crowd with their enthralling play on rhythm, beats, and tempo.

Up next was no other than fast-rising, chart-topping band, Ben&Ben.  Performing back-to-back hits including “Maybe The Night”, “Kathang Isip”, and “Leaves”, the band shared how music that moves people and stirs emotion can only come from believing that the chase is and will always be so worth it.

It won’t be Yellow Cab without the iconic pizza joint’s all-time bestseller, so we enjoyed a free slice of New York’s Finest pizza and a complimentary cup of Heineken when we got to answer the simple question, “What is your personal chase and why is it worth it?”  Limited edition Pizza Passes were also handed out to guests, including us media peeps, which we can use to redeem discounts for dine-in purchases made at selected Yellow Cab stores.

Wrapping up the night was high-octane spinner Mia Ayesa a.k.a. DJ Miaow, who, with her killer looks and music, kept the crowd’s energy at its highest till the end.
