McDonald’s PH now accepting cashless payments via PayMaya

McDonald's customers in the Philippines can now pay hassle-free for their McDonald’s favorites,  as the quick-service restaurant chain rolls out over-the-counter Mastercard and Visa card transactions in select branches through a collaboration with PayMaya Philippines.

No need to traffic in the cashier lane just to count bills, look for coins. It can now be cashless-ly done, thanks to Paymaya PH and Mcdonald's PH tie up.

Over 40 McDonald’s restaurants nationwide have already begun accepting card payments for all types of Mastercard and Visa credit, debit, and prepaid cards, including PayMaya Visa cards and Smart Mastercard.


Soon, McDonald’s customers can also transact via PayMaya QR payments in its McCafĂ© BGC Arts Center and McCafĂ© Tagaytay Calamba stores, with more stores accepting QR-based payments in the coming months.

Now anyone with the PayMaya app can make quick and convenient payments using only their smartphones. 

In the very near future, customers can also look forward to being able to book and pay for their McCelebrations Birthday Party online as well as pay for their orders via McDelivery.

Getting a PayMaya account is easy. All one has to do is to download the app or start a chat with @PayMayaOfficial in FB Messenger to be able to create an account. Loading up their PayMaya accounts is also hassle-free, given the ubiquity of over 15,000 top-up facilities nationwide. These include Robinsons Department Store Business Centers, SM Business Services, Cebuana Lhuillier, ExpressPay, TouchPay kiosks, 7-Eleven, Expresspay, Palawan Pawnshops, Shopwise, Wellcome, 2Go outlets, Petron stations along NLEX, and Smart Padala centers down to sari-sari stores in grassroots communities, and Unionbank ATMs.



Toward a cashless Philippines
