Hewlett Packard(HP), brings HP Sprocket, the newest, smallest, and hippest lifestyle printer yet. The compact photo printer can print colored pictures in less than a minute and doesn't require refillable ink(if we understand it right) through the use of HP signature printing technology.

The Sprocket is a small, portable and pocket-sized printer that you can bring anywhere. You can easily carry it with your palm. At only 0.17 kg and 4.53 x 2.95 inches, the Sprocket is as portable as your usual smartphone, and is one of HP’s most lightweight devices. 

Just connect the HP Sprocket to your smartphone via bluetooth(through the accompanying app) and you can instantly print your photos in a snap. Plus, it goes hand-in-hand with other tech essentials such as powerbanks and portable flash drives. It can also be charged using your powerbank through the micro-usb port, which will just take 90 minutes to fully charge it.

Through the HP Sprocket app you can tweak photos before printing it. Both iOS and Android system will have its own HP Sprocket App. The compact photo printer supports a variety of formats including BMP, GIF, and JPEG, as well as TIFF for iOS devices which means any photo can be printed out with ease, whether grabbed online or taken straight from a phone camera.

In just 40 seconds, users can print quality colorful photos with the use of the HP ZINK® technology 2 x 3” photo papers that are smudge-proof and water and tear-resistant.  The ZINK® Technology feature uses zero ink and has crystals stored on each paper which can produce colors once heated.
