GameX partners with GBPlay in search of top Crossfire Stars team in PH
GameX, the online
portal developed by wireless services leader Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart)
for eSports players, has partnered with game publisher GBPlay Inc in search of
the top Crossfire Stars team that will represent the country in the world
arena.
The leading first-person shooter (FPS) online PC
game in the world, Crossfire Stars pits two mercenary teams in a head-to-head
battle across different fields and game modes.
The game’s design requires a lot of strategy and
coordination among team members, and results in adrenaline-charged matches,
eliciting a lot of fans around the world.
Crossfire 2015 will host a series of tournaments
at participating SM Supermalls in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, culminating in
the grand finals at SM North Edsa on October 11, 2015.
“Aside from being a one-stop portal where
Filipino gamers may conveniently purchase their gaming credits, GameX takes the lead in boosting the
awareness and growth of eSports in the country, as well as supporting
