Starbucks' Whole-Grain Oatmeal: Oatmealicious Breakfast


     What's more good in the morning than having a full and healthy breakfast to start your day?
    
    We have a saying that the early bird catches the worm. How do you think we can achieve it? We don't only have bigger appetite than worms, but also we're not into worms. But no offense if you are.
 

    While looking for a meal to make and start my day right, I went to Starbucks to check if they still prepare Fajita, which my taste buds have been missing lately. I find myself inside the place I personally consider blogging haven, not only I find peace but also gives me the spirit to write and post articles here on the site.  

     Unfortunately they don't have this anymore. It's not much of a surprise since before long, one of the Baristas told me that its only good for the whole month December of 2013. Anyway, time to move on, it was all last year. Just a month ago but yeah technically it's all last year.

 
      A small container that looked like it served ice creams, in the food display caught my attention. To my surprise, it's even the same food they're recommended for me to try. I'm the kind of person who's not afraid to try something new when it comes to food, as long as not the exotic ones. Finally decided to give it a shot and finalize my order, as I look for a good seat in the house.
I find Starbucks a cozy place to hang-out. I consider it a blogging haven, not only I find peace but also gives me the spirit to write and post articles here.
 
    This hearty breakfast consists of whole-grain oats, mixed fruits and Agave Syrup. Oatmeals are known for good dietary breakfast. People who want to cut down their cholesterol and lessen the chances of a heart attack really dig this stuff. While mixed fruits provide that sweet and sour taste that compliments the dull taste of oats.  The Agave syrup is a good alternative for sugar or honey. With just the right amount,  it will give you that sweet before & after taste on every dip of your lips on that spoon while the juices of mixed fruits burst inside your mouth. 
 
     It's kinda nice that you can personally mix the supplied ingredients before you consume and digest your food. It gives you the feeling that you are the one who prepared your breakfast. The preparation and mixing part adds to the excitement, especially if it's your first time to try it.
 


 
      You can get hold of this delicious yet healthy breakfast for the whole month of January and February at your favorite Starbucks stores. The Whole-Grain Oatmeal can consumed for only PHP85 a pop. We matched it with our favorite hot drink Asian Dolce Latte whose making its comeback this year.  You can never go wrong with this great combination. All I can say is, it's the best of both worlds!
